We're thrilled to welcome Gerry Waterfield, an experienced fisherman and Fisheries scientist, who will be covering a wide range of topics including the basics of successful fishing, the biology of freshwater fishes, seasonal fishing patterns, fishing equipment and techniques, and local fishing opportunities. Everyone from those who have never fished to expert fishers are welcome!

Mr. Waterfield has over 30 years of experience in the areas of fisheries research & management of fisheries resources. He brings an in-depth understanding and experience in the subjects of fish life histories, development projects within lakes & rivers, identification of fish species, fish habit analysis, and habitat restoration. He has worked on projects and conducted research on the Schuylkill River, Delaware River & Estuary, Susquehanna River, and beyond. He is a member of the American Fisheries Society and the Pennsylvania Lake Management Society.
