Saturday, September 17th is a big day for Phoenixville!
The Phoenixville Farmers Market is held every Saturday from 9:00am - 1:00pm from May until Thanksgiving, and then from every Saturday from 10:00am - 12:00pm until New Years. Located under the Gay Street Bridge, accessed by Taylor Alley.
On September 17th, the Phoenixville Green Earth Festival will also be taking place at the site of the market. This year's theme is Living Green, and will include exhibitors that specialize in eco-friendly products and services, renewable energy, environmental issues, trails, nature advocacy, and organizations making a difference in the community in other positive ways. The festival will feature electric and hybrid cards, as well as hybrid electric power assisted bicycles (as well as good-old-fashioned human powered bikes as well). Plus, activities for kids! Exhibitor spaces and sponsorship opportunities are still available: contact Steve at Steve@CommunityEcoCenter.com or at 610-935-2600.
Also: from 9:00am - 11:00am, you can join Activate Phoenixville for a walk on the Schuylkill River Trail and chat with local doctors about fitness and healthcare related questions - meet at the covered bridge next to the Phoenixville Foundry.
